I have to recommend Elma aesthetics and Marta to everyone in chicago! Easily the best facial I’ve ever had, from the lymphatic drainage massage, integrated breathwork, amazing and calming studio, and how my skin felt after! especially to my yogis, Marta has such a soothing voice and calming manner that i felt like i was in a nidra state, can’t recommend enough! Marta explained every step of the facial to me but also kept talking to a minimum, allowing me to fully relax and zone out. The products she used smelled so good that i had to buy a few on my way out! It’s been a few days and my skin feels so moisturized and soft even in this dry February weather.

100 stars for Marta!! It was my first time getting my brows professionally done ever, and I was very nervous because my eyebrows were quite sparse but I also didn’t want a very intense tinted results. Marta just saw and knew what I wanted and needed. She was so patient and understanding. I cried when I saw the results. Just what I wanted, a soft brow with natural shape. I can’t recommend her enough!!

Marta is a magician! Every aspect of Elma is lovely down to the quiet welcoming space, but I honestly would go to a hole in the ground if Marta was doing work there. The changes I’ve seen in my jaw pain are evidence enough that the buccal massages from Marta are more than just rubbing my face. I’ve gotten Botox in my jaw before and personally I’ve felt better in Marta’s care. Even without the jaw massage, the facials alone are worth coming back for; I’ve seen changes in my skin overall plus it’s one of the few times I can think of my body fully relaxes. I typically leave my appointments on another planet I’m so relaxed! TLDR; Marta is amazing as an esthetician but also as a carer. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment, I guarantee that you will also instantly rebook at the end like I do.

Marta did an amazing job on my custom brows! I love how they turned out, subtle and very natural-looking. I’ve always been a little annoyed by my brows and struggled with upkeep, but now they look great every day with minimal touch-up. The overall experience was great! Marta explained the process before, during and after, which made me feel informed and eased any nervousness I may have felt. She also had specific, but simple tips for post-care and that made the healing process feel really easy for me. LOVE the final product! And, as the artist, she seemed as pleased with (and excited about!) her work as I am.

Marta is the epitome of a great business owner. She has always been honest with me on what to expect. She's available for questions on products and procedures and is just a kind human. It doesn't hurt that she loves reality TV shows 😉. I've seen her twice now for powder brows, I've seen Mandy for countless facials and a brow tint and wax and Marta has given me so much advice on facial products over the years. I truly appreciate their professionalism, attention to detail, kindness and cleanliness. I always feel safe, well taken care of and respected.
